Two Premier Soccer Clubs merge to form Elite Soccer Academy
Announced today, South Jersey Elite Soccer Club and South Jersey Barons Youth Academy will be merging to form an elite soccer academy aimed at providing the highest level of developmental training through the beginner ages through high school. The focus will be player development and to provide as many opportunities for the players during the college placement process.

The club is sponsoring the 1st annual SJE College Night Presentation next Wednesday, February 3rd at the Senior Center in Sewell, NJ (Details below). This event was previously canceled due to the severe snow storm. As stated in a previous email, the club is strongly encouraging all players, parents and coaches to attend. The club is making a large effort to offer very valuable guidance and information that will help our players/families create opportunities for themselves throughout the college search. Our guest speaker for this event will be Darren Ambrose who is currently the Head Coach for the University of Pennsylvania Women's Soccer Program. Tom Kovic will be giving a detailed "To Do List" for all 15-18 age groups.

South Jersey Elite Futsal Academy (SJEFA)
Our objective is to provide individual players with the essential skills and fundamentals to compete in the game of Futsal. The game of Futsal will help the kids develop better foot skills and help them make faster decisions with the ball. SJ Elite Futsal Academy (SJEFA) has a highly experienced and qualified staff to teach the game at a high level. SJEFA will offer various different programs geared towards the travel, intramural and recreational levels for girls and boys ages from 6yrs to 18yrs. Our Winter Academy Teams are looking for players who are eager to learn and compete on a competitive level to be trained and coached throughout a 10 week period. Our ultimate goal is to help kids become better players within the game of Futsal to enhance their outdoor game.

South Jersey Elite ’94 won their 2nd straight tournament of the fall by capturing the U-15 Elite Division of the prestigious YMS Columbus Cup. On their way to the championship the boys only surrendered 3 goals in four games while scoring 10. In the semifinal the boys dominated Middlepath FC United 4-1, the #17 team in New York East. The team overcame a 1 goal deficit in the final to defeat CRUSA Elite ’94 2-1 to secure the title.
Congratulations to the South Jersey Elite '94 boys team for winning the Spirit United Kickoff Classic . The boys won all 4 games over the weekend by a combined 13-3 score to capture the U-15 Gold Division. This is the 3rd tournament win of the year and we would like to congratulate the team for their continued success!
Force ranked #7 in NJ, #25 in Region 1
With a strong performance in the Spirit United Kickoff Classic the SJE Force continue to move up the rankings based on their tournament play. The Force competed in the Championship Division and finished tied for 1st with Lower Merion who is the #1 ranked team in Pa. The Force ended the tournament with a 2-2 draw to #1 ranked Lower Merion, 2-2 draw to #7 FC Bucks Prowlers and 1-1 draw to #3 ranked FC Revolution. The Force were eliminated in the Semi-Final round on penalty kicks to Lower Merion.

Welcome to South Jersey Elite Soccer Club!
South Jersey Elite was formed to provide serious soccer players with professional coaching, state-of-the-art facilities and the optimum competition environment.Our club is committed to a higher standard of training and focused on player development. The professional coaching staff members have extensive playing and coaching backgrounds. Each team will be provided a professional coach that will conduct training sessions and oversee game/player management. The professional coaching staff has developed a detailed curriculum and developmental process that is geared towards the development of the individual player at younger ages leading to team tactical knowledge at the older age groups.
SJ Elite will offer teams U8-U18 age groups for both boys and girls.
SJ Elite will seek to participate in the highest-level leagues, competitions, and tournaments, available in the area. Our teams will have the opportunity to play in the SJGSL, SJSL, Maps, Jags and Region 1 leagues. It is a goal to achieve success at the state, regional, and national levels. Our teams will participate in age appropriate tournaments. Our club will seek to provide U15-U18 teams with the opportunity to attend tournaments that will provide the highest level of competition and exposure to college coaches.
Common Misconceptions About SJ Elite:
It’s Too Expensive.
In comparison to other programs with paid coaches in the state, SJ Elite is comparable in cost. Compared with other clubs in the country with similar programs, SJ Elite is cheaper. At year’s end, SJ Elite is far cheaper per hour than any individual lesson money can buy.
They Don’t Let You Play other Sports.
This is simply not true. Many of our kids excel in multiple sports.
They Travel Too Much.
Our teams will play in local leagues and tournaments. At the older ages our teams travel based on the ability level and the competition available.
They Practice More.
Teams will practice 2 times per week depending on age level.
